FAQs
I am licensed to practice in CT, NY, FL, Washington and South Carolina. I offer sessions to clients residing in those states via telehealth only.
I work with individuals and couples aged 17 and older.
Although intake sessions are 75-90 minutes in length, a typical session is 55 minutes in length. I offer both individual and couples therapy. I am trained in several modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family systems (IFS), emotionally focused theray (EFT), psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness. I am also a certified Ketamine-Assisted psychotherapist (C-KAP). I utilize these, and other, techniques based on your unique needs and goals.
For individual therapy, I charge $250 for typical 55 minute sessions and $300 for an initial 75-90 min intake session.
For couples therapy, I charge $300 for a typical 90 minute session and the initial intake. If you would like astrology incorporated, we can discuss pricing.
For ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP), I require a minimum of 3 sessions; a pre-journey Preparation session, the guided ketamine Journey session, and a post-journey Integration session. The fee for these 3 sessions is $1,000. You can elect to continue regular therapy afterwards at the rates listed above.
In cases of financial need, I am sometimes able to offer a sliding scale.
I am an out-of-network provider. This means that you are responsible for the fee at the time of our session, and I can provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement will depend on your out-of-network benefits. I can provide additional information about this process, including suggested questions to ask your insurance carrier, during our consultation call.
Payment must be done in advance of each session via your patient portal in Simple Practice.
I require 24 hour notice for cancellations to avoid being charged the full session fee. However, I realize that sometimes things happen that are out of our control and will be flexible in those instances.
I encourage you to reach out to schedule a free phone consultation. These are typically about 15 minutes in length, and provide a chance for us to learn more about one another before determining whether we are a good fit and scheduling our first session.
